About Studio Mihra

I've been painting ever since I was a child.

I grew up drawing flowers, little houses, and places that I found beautiful.

Studio Mihra grew from those observations. It is an ode to slowing down, finding beauty in ordinary moments and comfort in familiar places. Every artwork begins with something I've noticed, remembered, or simply didn't want to forget.

The name Mihra comes from Mihir, another name for the sun.

I've always been fascinated by the sun. To me, it's where everything begins. We all need it to grow, whether it's a plant, a flower, or a person. I also find the most comfort in daylight, which is probably why so many of my paintings are filled with soft morning and afternoon light.

When I was creating Studio Mihra, I wanted the name to carry that feeling of warmth and comfort.

The moon found its place in the logo later, as a

reminder that beauty can exist in imperfection too.
